    Program Goals

  • Gather valuable insights about how people use and understand our websites, applications, or online tools. 
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative data that can help inform design decisions. 
  • Respect the time and privacy of our volunteers. 
  • Test ideas early using low fidelity prototypes to validate or in-validate design assumptions before becoming heavily invested in an idea.
 
The Loop is a user feedback program created by Marketing Communications. The program is designed to gather information about how KU’s online services are used. Volunteers who have joined the loop participate in small studies in the form of an online survey, online design prototype tests, in-person interviews, or in-person design prototype test. The results from these studies are used to help inform design decisions and ultimately make KU’s online experiences more relevant to the people who use them.
