Kansas Public Radio

Kansas Public Radio is one “station” with several towers and listeners across a wide swath of northeast, north-central, and southeast Kansas; the Kansas City metro area; and northwest Missouri.

Besides providing outstanding regional news coverage, KPR carries programs from National Public Radio — including All Things Considered, Car Talk, and This American Life. Listeners can also hear a diverse selection of music played throughout the day, from bluegrass and Bach to Broadway show tunes.

Audio-Reader

The Kansas Audio-Reader Network is a free reading and information service for blind, visually impaired, and print-disabled individuals in Kansas and western Missouri. We read daily newspapers, magazines and best-selling books on the air and on the Internet 24 hours a day.
